Agricultural Lease Survey
Farm and iTaukei agriculture lease boundary surveys for TLTB lease offers, survey instructions, and title registration across Fiji.
Overview
An agricultural lease survey establishes the legal boundary of farmland held under lease — commonly on iTaukei land administered by TLTB. Accurate survey plans are a required step between a lease offer and a registered title, so tenants, landowners, and lenders all know exactly what area is leased.
helps farmers, lessees, and landowners complete that survey work with clear communication and plans prepared for Fiji authority requirements. if you have a TLTB agriculture lease offer, survey instructions, or an existing farm boundary that needs defining.
How agricultural lease surveys work in Fiji
The pathway below follows the public process described by TLTB for iTaukei lease applications and surveying of leasehold land. Your exact steps can vary by location and lease type — can review your paperwork and explain what comes next.
Lease application and offer
For iTaukei land used for farming, applicants lodge an agriculture lease application with TLTB. After landowner consultation and assessment, TLTB may issue a lease offer that the tenant must accept within the stated timeframe.
Survey instructions
Once the lease offer is underway, TLTB issues surveying instructions for the lease area. Cadastral lease surveys must be supervised by a registered surveyor as required under Fiji’s Surveyors Act.
Field survey and plan preparation
The survey defines the lease boundary on the ground, marks corners where required, and produces the survey plan needed for the lease.
Lease title and registration
After the survey is completed to TLTB’s requirements, TLTB can issue the lease title documentation for registration at the Titles Office.
